Welcome to the 2nd semester in the 2016/2017 academic year!
It’s no secret most KU students do not attend classes. Especially those they find as boring or those in the afternoon where one prefers to go to sleep or play Fifa at KM or make up stories in the ladies hostels.
What most might not know is that, you are liable to academic discipline or even discontinuation die to missing classes!
For those in the school of Medicine and Engineering, missing classes means having loads of work to write afterwards and for those with quite the elaborate lecturers, this might mean having to study harder to grasp a concept explained well in the class you missed.
This also applies to other schools, whether composed of 1000+ students – it’s not advisable to miss classes. Perhaps try this this semester, attend all classes in by a given lecturer. Check what you get in your finals. You’ll be surprised how easy it is to pass in campus!
