Stella Karanja, a 5th year medical student committed suicide by hanging herself within the KU compound (SQ) on the evening of 14th of September 2017 – as revealed by KUSA President Were Were.
Going by the president’s Facebook post, the student had been contemplating taking away her life for quite a while. Were called on students to seek guidance and counselling wherever faced with extreme difficulties in life.
